I am taking a break.

People here seem to care less about emotional bullshit, so I'll cut the crap.

Things are getting too "real" for me on the internet, I'm taking a sabbatical. I'll see you guys later after immersing myself in stuff that is ACTUALLY real for a bit.
In this moment, I am Ur-phoric. Not because of any phony god’s blessing. But because, I am enlightened by my int score.

Sounds like fun. Take it easy.

Don't forget the Kit-Kats. If not you won't really be taking a break.

No, I'm not even being cruel or mean. I just saw "taking a break" and thought Kit-Kat. Probably b/c I had one yesterday (and probably the only candybar that I've had in.... months?).

Also, while I'm happier now than I was for the last few months. I'm becoming less sane due to self-imposed sleep ..... elimination.

My recent posts on IMHO to/about Koumei are probably a sign of the little sanity maggots furiously crawling out of my skull like rats fleeing a burning ship.

>_>

We'll see you when you're back Count.

Yeah, the internet should be refuge from reality, not a source of personal drama. Have fun.

Yeah, I hope you enjoy your break too. Honestly we could all chill out a bit and remember that the Internet is not serious business.

Internet is reality. While it does depend on what one's doing (I certainly don't think here should be a source of drama, but that's because it's gaming, not because it's on the Internet), some of it actually is serious business, don't forget that.

Evidence of the net/real bleedover is starkly obvious when a person posts their phone number on /b/.

Within minutes the vilest insults spew forth to their voicemail.

I find it sad when teens, sometimes adults, gain an abrupt and sometimes unwilling entry in to the net/real crossover.
It's like in Tron when Jeff Bridges gets sucked in to the interbutts from a tiny error; he can't get out easily.

Good luck out there Count.

I'll miss your online rants while you get stuff sorted out.
"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."
